These final two weeks of 2025 brought a new, much more reliable crew to the project, and things are finally moving at a good pace.
The window grates are all now in place.
The subfloors are a big mess, a lot of mud on top of the concrete, but the interior walls are going up.
The olive harvest took a couple of weeks-delayed several times by rain. Kaoutar and I had to lay a portion out to dry but in the end, we harvested 540 kilograms from our 6 trees.
In the studio, we are getting close to the actual building being finished. Mohamed, the amazing artist who is doing the stone cladding, is also laying the terrazo floor inside. It is a fascinating process to watch.
